BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (May 13,2022) –The Southeastern Conference on Friday announced its annual Men’s Golf Awards, which were recently voted on by the league’s 14 head coaches.

The 2022 All-SEC teams and a complete list of awards are listed below.

NCAA Men’s Golf Regionals begin play on Monday, May 16 at various sites across the nation. The SEC is represented with 13 teams in this year’s field.

Canon Claycomb, Alabama

Claycomb continues to lead the way for the Crimson Tide in the community … He has raised over $300,000 as the founder and director of The Mason Cup – a non profit charity golf tournament to raise money for the Mason Goodnight foundation … Proceeds of the event go to the Boys and Girls club of Franklin, Ky., in remembrance of Bowling Green native Mason Goodnight … Also a member of the Alabama Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) which helps the Tuscaloosa and surrounding areas by planning community events including the Habitat for Humanity builds, Halloween Extravaganza and Project Angel Tree among others.

Wil Gibson, Arkansas

Named to the SEC Community Service teams in 2020 and 2021 … Volunteered at the Salvation Army … Community engagement with several local businesses in the area to provide integrity wealthy capital services.

Brendan Valdes, Auburn

Hosts annual Brendan Values Charity Golf Scramble in hometown of Orlando, Florida to raise money for pediatric cancer… All funds go to the Ian Supra Memorial Foundation… Last event raised $11,000 for the foundation… 2022 marks the second year of the event.

Tyler Wilkes, Florida

Worked with Team Impact and helped at Gators Golf Day… Had the most community service hours on team as he also wrote get well cards for kids at Shands Children Hospital.

Connor Creasy, Georgia

Community service activities include the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, Food Bank of Northeast Georgia, United Way of Northeast Georgia, Extra Special People, Special Olympics, Thanksgiving meals for those less fortunate and Holiday cards for members of the Armed Forces.

Jacob Cook, Kentucky

Is a mainstay in the community … Been a team captain for each of the last two seasons … Serves on the Kentucky Student Athlete Advisory Council and is a part of the leadership team for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes program … In the summer of 2019, he served on a mission trip to Nicaragua … Participated in various activities including Breakfast with Santa, bowling with Special Olympics participants, he’s cooked and served dinner at the Ronald McDonald House and he’s packed and delivered food as a part of the God’s Pantry Backpack Program … Has participated in the PGA’s Barbasol community event at the UK Children’s Hospital and twice Cook has served as UK’s representative at the SEC SAAC at the SEC offices in Birmingham, Alabama … In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, he had to become innovative in how he could give back and found a way to utilize Zoom and visit with patients at the UK Children’s Hospital

Trey Winstead, LSU

LSU Men’s Golf SAAC Representative…Partook in LSU Halloween BooZar and interacted with trick or treaters

Jack Gnam, Ole Miss

Gnam has continued to show drive off the course in being involved with the community, with Gnam now being nominated to the SEC Community Service Team for Ole Miss men’s golf for the second-consecutive year. Gnam’s community-service activities for the year involve taking part in Feed The Sip, which helps to collect non-perishable food items to donate to elementary schools in Tunica and Quitman County. Additionally, Gnam continued his involvement in the Adopt-A-Basket program for his fourth-consecutive year, which helps to provide Thanksgiving baskets to those in need within the Lafayette-Oxford-University Community, as well as visiting local elementary schools for the Reading with Rebels program, where he would read to children while also speaking to classes about the importance of good behavior and his experience being a collegiate athlete. Gnam also took part in A Night to Shine, which celebrated guests with special needs by putting on an unforgettable prom experience for those in attendance. Beyond his community-service initiates, Gnam serves as a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) at Ole Miss, which strives to enhance the overall student-athlete experience at Ole Miss by developing leadership skills, promoting student-athlete welfare and fostering a positive student-athlete image on campus and in the local area.

Harrison Davis, Mississippi State

This year Davis has led the creation of a community service project for his team. On Wednesday, April 13, the team will travel to a local elementary school in the Starkville area. There, they will assist in bus duty during morning drop off. Davis has been on the 2021 SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll and is involved in Mississippi State’s Student Athlete Development Program. This has let him host networking nights for fellow athletes, do mock interviews and more.

Tommy Boone, Missouri

Totals 36.5 hours of community service – including adopt-a-family, the food bank and with the City of Columbia – during his time at Mizzou. A consistent participant in Mizzou Made career and personal development workshops. Played in eight of MU’s 11 tournaments this season. Holds a season stroke average of 72.32.

Ryan Hall, South Carolina

A standout on the course and off the course in the classroom, Hall leads the team in community service hours. The team’s captain, he’s the only senior on the roster. The 2021 PING First Team All-American was heavily involved with Gamecock Games this year, a field day event with children that have special needs. He’s been involved with Meals on Wheels, Curing Kid’s Cancer and a local fire truck pull for charity during his time in Garnet and Black.

Spencer Cross, Tennessee

Cross has registered 66 total community service hours during his time as a Vol, serving as a member of VOLeaders and Tennessee’s Student Athlete Advisory Community (SAAC). Cross is also the President and Co-Founder of Smoky Mountain Junior Golf-a non-profit organization that gives juniors in his hometown of Sevierville, Tennessee the accessibility to free golf, equipment, lessons, clothing, etc. Weekly clinics are done throughout the fall season, where he volunteers and helps instruct the players.

Michael Heidelbaugh, Texas A&M

Serves as the team representative on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee … Helped organize Aggies CAN, the nation’s largest student-athlete volunteer-run canned food drive … the men’s golf team donated 225 cans of food, which was third-most of all teams at Texas A&M … organized the men’s golf team community service project to help with maintenance at the Aggies’ home course, Traditions Club … helped coach junior golfers at his home course over the summer … served dinner at a homeless shelter, Dallas Life, multiple times … helped his teammates sign up for The Big Event, the largest one-day, student-run service project in the nation.

Cole Sherwood, Vanderbilt

Sherwood is a member of Vanderbilt’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and helped lead a multitude of student-athlete initiated efforts this academic year
