Francois Poletti has been appointed General
Manager of Vana Belle, a Luxury Collection Resort, Koh Samui.
A French national, Francois spent his childhood on the
island of Corsica and graduated in hospitality management from Lyce
Htelier Paul Augier.

Francois career in luxury hospitality
was honed through working with three different Relais & Chateaux
properties in St Barth, French Polynesia, and Phuket, the
latter advancing his career to the position of F&B Director at The Pavilions, Phuket.
Francois joined Marriott International in 2013 as
Director of F&B at the Renaissance Tlemcen, Algeria.
Then, in 2016, he joined the pre-opening team as Director of
Operations at the Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa, Nai Yang Beach, his
most recent position prior to joining Vana Belle.
European luxury hospitality has a special and
distinct quality that is rooted in age-old European culture and
notions of service, said Francois. I am confident that with the
warm and natural Thai hospitality of the Vana Belle Family, and
the beauty of the resort and its setting, we can create a style
here in Samui that will be wonderfully memorable for our guests.
