While many of 2019’s most-popular fashion trends didn’t feel quite right for the life of stay-at-home orders and social distancing that followed (I definitely wasn’t wearing a tailored vest, for example), 2020 and 20201 brought with them a slew of new outfit phenomenons (hello, the nap dress), and there’s one in particular that I’ll remain grateful for: the matching sweatsuit.
As a freelance fashion writer, I was always a big fan of sporting my pajamas while conducting phone interviews and writing stories from the comfort of my own abode. And, now that some in-person meetings, events and coffee dates are still being replaced by virtual Zoom calls, my WFH wardrobe is as relevant as ever.
